There’s no deadline to finish a profile and there are no limits on the number of candidates which are going to be admitted to the pool for consideration, but once established, profiles are valid for a year.

Profiles are rated according to people who have existing ties to Canada through household or past work or research, or that have a job offer in Canada already, will also be given a higher position.

To use, they have 60 days to submit a comprehensive application for permanent residence. Invitations are issued into the highest-performing applicants in draws that happen around every 2 weeks, meaning the greatest performers will be invited within most a few weeks of entering the pool.
