9. NEW ORLEANS JAZZ AND HERITAGE FESTIVAL
Commonly called New Orleans Jazz Fest or merely “Jazz Fest,” this interesting event is hosted annually so as to celebrate the culture of New Orleans. Held annually at the end of April. It’s among the oldest festival on this listing and among the very best on earth. The festival is steeped in African American history and culture and, of course, pays homage to the unbelievable diversity of jazz, blues and gospel.
