5. Object Scavenger Hunt
This is quite another fun scavenger hunt. You need to make the children hunt for objects that start with the letters of the alphabet.
Shuffle one set of letters and place the deck facing upside down on the table. Ask your child to select a card and read out the letter. Then the child must hunt for the objects in the house that starts with the letter. For example, an apple for A, book for B or maybe a bat. Check out how objects they can find for each letter!
6. Unscramble
Encourage your child to alphabetize a pile of mixed up flash cards and. Team up the younger sibling with the older one. To make it harder, you can set a time limit and race the clock.
