10+ Game of Thrones filming location that you can visit

5. Dunluce Castle, Northern Ireland (Pyke)

The hotbed for the ‘House Greyjoy’ is inspired by this medieval castle, which lies in the ruins. Accessible with a bridge, the castle is surrounded by slopes impossible to surmount, making for an exceptional Game of Thrones filming place. The area is already famous being home to an Irish fort which drew ancient Christians and Vikings. Just a few years ago, ruins of a missing Dunluce city was discovered. Historians thought that it had been ruined as a consequence of the 1641 Irish uprisings. Excavation continues to be performed.
